Peaches Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Killswitch Engage \ Anthrax
Impressed with my first visit to 20 Monroe Live, which I believe has been open for about 2 months. The venue is kind of situated in a weird spot, resembling the bottom of a hotel when you enter. However, once inside, you start to wonder where exactly you are. It's clear that it's a place for live shows, but it feels odd. Despite that, it is set up great with bars everywhere and possibly food available. The prices are what I expected for a downtown venue. I didn't spot any handicap bathrooms, but I'm sure they have one. I used the restrooms upstairs behind the mezzanine. The sound during the show was excellent, with music audible from anywhere and TV monitors showing the performance. There were no weird echoes or issues that I noticed. I already have tickets for Korn in May and Volbeat in June. Overall, I think it's a great addition to the existing venues in Grand Rapids. Five stars.
